Ms. Schikore serves as an investment analyst at Penn Mutual Asset Management. In this role, Afton is responsible for conducting analysis of structured products, including commercial mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities.
Prior to joining Penn Mutual Asset Management, Afton was a vice president on the commercial real estate primary trading desk at Deutsche Bank. In this capacity, her responsibilities included the capital markets syndication of commercial mortgage-backed securities, risk retention placement and securitization banking.
Afton graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama where she dual-majored in Economics and Finance. She also graduated with a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Alabama. Afton has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder since 2023 and holds Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses with FINRA.
