Penn Mutual Asset Management Launches First Private Investment Fund

PMAM leverages its fixed income investment expertise

January 5, 2016

Horsham, Pa. – Penn Mutual Asset Management, Inc. (PMAM), a registered investment adviser with approximately $20 billion in assets under management, announces the launch of its first private investment fund.

“The fund marks our entrance into the private fund market and is an outgrowth of our firm’s depth and expertise as fixed income managers. It is designed to provide institutional and long-term investors access to our research and approach to fixed income markets,” says PMAM President and Chief Marketing Officer Keith Huckerby.

The fund’s launch represents an important milestone as the firm looks to expand its footprint by growing and strengthening relationships with institutional investors and charting a course for future growth.

“We are excited about the launch, particularly as we see an increased appetite among institutional investors for actively-managed funds.” says PMAM Chief Investment Officer Mark Heppenstall.

PMAM is the entrusted investment adviser of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual), the parent company of PMAM, and adviser for the Penn Series Funds, Inc., a proprietary mutual fund complex.
