Mr. O’Sullivan serves as an investment specialist at Penn Mutual Asset Management. In this role, Neil quantifies the risk in indexed universal life and variable annuity products, designs the hedging strategy and trades the derivatives to manage the risk. He is responsible for the trading of various derivatives, including interest rate swaps, swaptions, futures and equity options.
Prior to joining Penn Mutual Asset Management, Neil was an equity index product consultant for The Jacobson Group, where he developed a reporting and trade generation system for an indexed annuity and IUL business lines. Prior to Jacobson, Neil was employed with National Life Group. In this role, he created a new hedging system for index-linked products and was responsible for derivative trading and operations as well as reporting and new product design. Neil has 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in derivatives, quantitative modeling, trading, reporting and systems development.
Neil received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts.
